Linked Mailboxes- Distribution Groups Membership

Hi,

I have 2 forest: 1 for resources (user accounts, mailboxes, distribution groups, Ex2010) and 1 for mail (Exchange 2013 - linked mailboxes). There is an ongoing mailbox migration process from Ex2010 to Ex2013.

The question is:

Is it needed to create distribution groups at Ex2013 forest with same name and membership than resource forest?
