One AD Domain, two exchange servers

Hi,

My existing environment is running Windows 2008 AD domain ABC.LOCAL and installed 1 set of Exchange 2007 SP2 server. I would like to build a new Exchange 2013 server to host all the executive users. 

Can I install a clean new Exchange 2013 server in my existing environment ?! If I can't, please provide the most easier path to achieve this
