exchange 2010 CAS Array URL and Outlook anywhere URL

Hi,

I have read the articles of ambiguous URL for cas array and anywhere. But for some reason it is not getting clear in my mind.

What it will make difference if Cas array url and outlookanywhere URL is different if the ip address of both is same.

Can any one explain?
