Just wanted to ask one question, we are setting up hybrid deployment but we just wanted to run Dirsync and only synchronize some OU's not all our AD, I was told that if we use Dirsync and Password synchronization option that is possible but if we are going to use Dirsync, ADFS and ADFS proxy (Federation) option then we need to first synchronize the whole AD first, is this true ? If it is true, what is the connection between office 365 and the federation option and what is the relation of this with Dirsync that says you choose an OU you want to synchronize. We don't mind having a common GAL if that is the condition. User in the cloud may not see users on-premises in the address book.
