Hello all! I have an odd question and I'm hoping you can help.
I have an exchange 2010 server that is used ONLY for SMTP relay, it serves our application servers, scanners, all in one printers, etc. The SMTP relay is setup and it restricts access based on our internal IP address range, and allows mail to go to anyone.
I now have a need to single out one server in particular and and allow it to ONLY send email to one domain (like *@example.com).
I've read other threads that tell me how to restrict all SMTP connectors, or not restrict any, but I'm curious if it's possible to set this up so most cliants can send to anyone, but specified clients are limited to only one external domain.
Thank you,
James
