Hi, so I have changed the domain on Exchange, not the local AD domain, just the external domain used for all virtual directories and Outlook Anywhere. I got my new cert from a CA and its installed fine. I got all virtual directories and Outlook anywhere updated to the new URL. My iphone Exchange email connections work fine after re-configuring for the new setting.
But Outlook is not happy. It comes up with a security alert about the new cert and a windows security prompt for credentials. If I check the account settings in Outlook, the server settings is fine, as expected the new domain. The username is still the old SMTP though, not the new which is the default domain on Exchange now.
In the Outlook, Outlook Anywhere settings, I still got the old URL so it seems thats not properly updating through autodiscovery. Even if I manually change it, it works, but I still get cert warnings and message saying that there is a problem the proxy servers security certificate, error code 10
I've restarted both my DAG servers.
Any ideas?
