Manual Setup not working, but Autodiscover works fine

Hello,

I've looked around a bit at similar issues and I haven't found something that helps.

When adding a 2013 exchange account to outlook 2013 using autodiscover, it works like a charm.

When I use the exact same settings to configure it manually, it doesn't work. I can get the manual settings to work on other devices, like android activesync, etc, but not in Outlook.

The error I'm getting is: "The action cannot be completed. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." I get this alert right after I removed the exact same account settings retrieved from a working autodiscovery configuration.

I am using svr record to perform autodiscover redirection, but I doubt this has anything to do with the problem. Or am I wrong?
