Single Exchange 2013 Server.
Had a retention tag that had gotten placed into a retention policy by mistake
The tag was to remove all mail (allowing recover) in the inbox after period of time
Problem is that the policy took hold (in the wrong place). I assume the end user can just do a "Recover deleted items", problem is that I have some users where it seems their "Recover Deleted Items" options are greyed out within Outlook.
How can I get these emails back?
