Exchange 2013 Migration From Exchange 2010 - Users unable to create contacts via Outlook, but can create via OWA

Hi All.

We've got a client, who is busy migrating from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013, with a very strange issue.

Whenever a user (2010 or 2013) tries to create a new Contact via Outlook (All clients on Outlook 2013), the Contact seems to be created fine (no errors pop up), but once the user opens their contact pane in outlook, the newly created contact simply is not there.

When logging in via OWA, a contact can be created and when the outlook client opens, the contact will be present.

I can see no errors when the contact is created via outlook, and "CTRL Right Clicking" on the Outlook Icon / Connection Status shows no errors in terms of connectivity.

The Client has a Proxy server which have been responsible for some exchange issues (as not being able to download the address book) but these has been resolved by by-passing the Proxy. I'm wondering whether it might still be the Proxy server (the internal and external names of the Exchange CAS servers have been bypassed in the proxy settings)

The AD Environment does have a disjoint namespace (not sure if this has anything to do with it), and from an exchange perspective the configuration has 2 Exchange MB servers (configured with DAG) and 2 Exchange CAS servers (2013) and a single CAS, MB, HT 2010 Exchange Server.

Can anyone assist / point me in the right direction for troubleshooting?

Thank you.
