Exchange Forwarding Not Forwarding Emails

I have been trying to forward email from my Exchange email to my Gmail account, my primary email. After trying some things, the emails my Exchange account receives aren't being forwarded at all. I've tried with multiple forwarding addresses and nothing works. When I tell it to keep a copy of the forwarded message, they appear in my Exchange inbox. What can I do to fix this? I really need all this going through my Gmail.
