Exchange 2010 RPC client access service

Hello

I have a large exchange 2010 organization having 4 client access servers load balanced using a hardware loadbalancer 4 mailbox servers and three HUBs.

We have a team wants to communicate with Microsoft Exchange RPC and they are asking to configure 1 static port instead the whole RPC range.

I am worried of doing such changes since I am afraid of having any impacts on users please advise since I have the following concerns:

Does it  have any impacts especially on services like outlook anywhere or autodiscover since most of users have the outlook profiles configured as autodiscover and outlook anywhere?

Do I have to configure the static port on the mailbox servers as well or it is enough to do it on CAS?

Can I rollback simply by deleting the registry KEY entry ?

Appreciate your help.
