We are in the middle of an Exchange 2010 to 2013 migration. We have applied a custom throttling policy on the Exchange 2010 site which limits default activesync connections (EASMaxDevices) to 2. Certain people have also been granted additional activesync device limits (via additional throttling policies) for up to 10 activesync devices.
New mailboxes created with Exchange 2013 have a different default throttling policy applied than legacy clients. This makes sense, the default Exchange 2013 throttling policy allows for up to 100 activesync devices. I know I can create a new organizational throttling policy to apply EASMaxDevices = 2 to everyone in the organization., but I don't want to override any settings for those people who already have customized policies applied. How can this be accomplished?
