Issue with Outlook 2013, Windows Phone and Outlook.com

I am currently having an issue with sending and recieving emails that have an Outlook task (or calender item) attached.

I am ussing Windows 8 Pro x64, Office 2013 Pro Plus.

Bascially I look at my Outlook folder and then on Outlook.com and all emails are synced and working. I then create a new email in which I attach a task to the email (I actually attach the task I do not send a task to someone). When I hit send, the email is sent (and the person recieves the email) but nothing is shown in my sent folder in Outlook. However when I look in Outlook.com the email is shown in the sent folders.

Then when someone sends me an email with a task attachment, I see it in Outlook.com but it doesn't show up in Outlook. All other emails are being recieved including emails with image attachments, PDF, etc. The only emails that aren't shown in Outlook (but are in Outlook.com) are emails that I send or recieve with an Outlook task (or calender item).

This same issue is occuring on my Windows 8 phone which leads me to believe it is not an Outlook issue but a EAS (or actual Microsoft) issue.

Any ideas?
