I have an issue that's got me beat, hoping someone can make some suggestions. Not sure if it's Outlook or Exchange, but the problem follows the user on different workstations.
Setup is Exchange 2013 running on Server 2012 R2 on small domain-based local LAN, Clients are Windows 7 with Outlook 2010. I created 3 shared mailboxes and added the users to Full Access and Send As under Mailbox Delegation. Everything works really well on the clients for all users except one!
What happens for this one (and only) user, no matter which workstation they login to, is that the shared mailboxes show up, but they all have blue arrows on them. And when I look at the data files (the .ost files) everything is going into the personal file and not the shared mailbox files.
Eg. for a user that is working properly (no blue arrows) the .ost file sizes are like this: personal mailbox .ost size = 40K, shared mailbox 1 .ost size = 9GB, shared mailbox 2 .ost size = 2GB, shared mailbox 3 .ost size = 7GB. For my rogue user the .ost sizes are 18GB, 3K, 3K, and 3K respectively. I hope that makes sense and explains what's happening.
I'm thinking it's a permissions problem or something like that but for the life of me I cannot see any difference for this user as compared to all other users. Any clues? Thanks.
