I've reviewing permissions that are assigned to my users and noticed that a few users have been mysteriously assigned "Receive As" permissions. Other users within the Exchange database and storage groups do not have "Receive As" permissions assigned to them, so I assume this was an administrator doing it by mistake. I've been trying to gather information about what this permission does and how it differs from other permissions. Are there any functional differences between"Receive As" permissions and "Full Access" permissions beyond how they're assigned and inherited? If there is no difference I'd like to change (standardize) the "Receive As" permissions assigned to these mailboxes to "Full Access". I've read multiple articles including the one below, but I'm unable to figure out if there is a different user experience between the two permission types.
