We are using Exchange Server 2010, and have a number of shared mailboxes. When I add permissions for a user on one by right-clicking the mailbox in the Exchange console, then manage full access permission and add the user, I expect the mailbox to automatically appear in Outlook (we are using Outlook 2013). In most cases this does happen, but there are a few mailboxes where they never appear automatically and I have to manually add them in the user's profile. It appears that the mailboxes affected are the ones we have had longest, which will have been imported from the previous Exchange server (which was running Exchange 2003).
Anyone know what causes this, and whether there is a way to make the mailboxes automatically appear?
