Exchange 2013 Passive Copy Activation

Hello All.........I am testing activating passive copies of my DAG, but users are unable to connect to outlook and/or send and receive e-mails.  In OWA, after authentication, I only see a blank page.  Users are authenticated, but are in disconnected state in outlook.  In other words they are unable to access the mailbox.  Upon running Mailbox-Statistics cmdlet, it returns that users last successful logon was before the passive copy activation which means that after the switch to passive copy of database, they are unable to access the mailbox.  What could be the cause of this?  How can I rectify this?

For Testing purposes, I created a Test Database with a Test User, activated the passive copy and tried to access that user after switch to passive copy of database and it all worked fine.  So, with new user and new database, it works fine, but with old users, they get stuck in disconnected state.  What could be the reason?

Just for information, I had to enable HighAvailability component through cmdlet on the passive copy server before activating passive database copy otherwise it was not allowing me to activate.

My environment is below:

Sites and Servers:  I have two-2 sites (A and B) with three-3 servers on each site which include 2 MBX and CAS and 1 just MBX.

DAG:  There are two-2 DAGs each containing three-3 servers.  Two-2 servers that are MBX and CAS on each site have the third partner from the other site that is just holding the MBX role.

Internet Facing:  Site A is internet facing.  All e-mail is sent and received from this site.  There is no connectivity from Site B to the outside world.  It relay or gets relayed everything to and fro through Site A.

Routing and Access:  At Site A, there is a Load Balancer in place for CAS load balancing which only includes CAS servers of Site A.  E-mail is sent from these CAS servers to the outside world.  For Web Access (OWA, etc.), TMG is being used for external users.  Internal users directly access Load Balancer to get service.

Thanks in advance.
