I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I'm having in Exchange 2010. We run audit reports on ADUC on a weekly basis and there is an old account of an ex-employee that is still being queried by our DC. The account cannot be found in either ADUC or Exchange and yet it shows up on this report every week with 60+ failures for "Bad User Name." I contacted the old employee to see if there was still an old account on his personal phone that he had setup for e-mail and he stated that the old account was deleted. Where else could our primary DC be calling on this account from? I ran a mailbox cleanup on the Server and the account is still showing up in audit. What am I missing?
