Forward email to Contact to Custom Atrribute in Exchange 2013

Hi,

We're battling with a CRM and just can't seem to figure out how to fix this.  We need to be able to have duplicates in exchange, but unfortunately, Exchange won't allow us to, so we are trying to get creative.

Rather than doing that, I'm looking at creating contacts with a unique code for each CRM contact (1234@ourdomain.com, 2345@ourdomain.com, etc) and putting the correct email address (joe@hotmail, kev@gmail.com) in a Custom Attribute.  This can be done by our CRM platform no probs.

The next bit though I'd need to be able to do is forward all email to that contact to their custom attribute email address.  This will then ensure all email is going to the correct spot.

I had a look in powershell, and I can't see a Set-Contact -ForwardingSMTPAddress like there is forSet-Mailbox.  Does anyone know how to do this (or if it is possible)?

I'm running out of ideas on this one, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Luke
