Authentication Issue during Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 migration while accessing Public Folder with Outlook

Hi there,

Mailboxes migrated to Exchange 2013 are not able to access Public Folders which are still located on Exchange 2010. The strange thing here is that the access works while I do aiisreset on the 2010 CAS Server's once for the client. That means:

iisreset on both Exchange 2010 CAS/Hub Servers
Outlook can connecto to public folders without any issue
Close Outlook and restart Outlook - the user will be prompted for credentials

This is reproducable - as soon as the client has one successful connection it does not work a second time. Even if I try to enter credentials from a user which does not have any problems to access the PF it does not work.

I've applied the referenced Outlook Hotfixes (August 2013) and tried it with Outlook 2013 and the necessary Hotfixes - still not successful.

Any more ideas where I can start to get rid of the authentication message in Outlook?

Thanks!
