MS Outlook not changing its CAS

Hello all,

I have two Exchange 2010 servers (latest SP and updates applied) in two different AD sites in a DAG with a share witness in a third one (client's request). They hold the three roles - MBX, HUB, CAS. No CAS arrays. Up until yesterday they were working perfectly fine with all clients - MS Outlook, Outlook for Mac and mobile devices. In case of a database failover all the clients were getting the new CAS server (with the active Database copy) and were continuing to operate normally. They share the same certificate *.mydomain.com. I set it as EXPR Outlook provider. I don't know what else I did to make it work at the time.. poor documentation; but now out of the sudden (without anyone changing anything as far as I know) the MS Outlook clients are getting the error message that the Administrator has made some changes requiring quitting and restarting Outlook and after doing that they don't have emails until I either repair the profile or put back the database on the main server.

Again, everything was working yesterday..

Maybe a setting got changed for some reason I don't know.

Can you point me in the right direction what I need to look for now to get it working again for the MS clients... The Outlook for Mac and mobile clients still get updated with the new server information and automatically continue receiving messages...

Thank you in advance for all ideas!

Best,

Irina
