I have 2 networks (A & B) connected using routers and the Internet.
Each network has an Exchange 2010 server and both are in the same organization and email works fine.
On network B, the router died and killed the site2site VPN
I temporarily connected the B network to the internet and have the mailserverB do a manual VPN to networkA fine. I notice now MailsvrB has a different IP address.
Great, now both email servers can ping each other, I thought.
When I force email to be delivered from MailsvrB to MailsvrB, it doesn't work.
The problem is that When I force emailsvrB to deliver email to emailsvrA, I think emailsvrA is expecting emailsvrB to be a the original email address. I get this error in the mail queue. "451.4.4.0 Primary target IP address responded with "454.70 Temporary authen…"
Help - What can I do to have email delivered...?
Thanks, Tom...
