I have a working exchange server running on windows server 2012 (not r2 this time). I was in the process of doing the email integration with Windows Server 2012 r2 Essentials and the processs dies when it gets to setting up ARR (reverse proxy). Internally everyone is able to set u and use Exchange, and external email gets through without a hitch, but I neeed to set up ARR so external users can get to OWA, Autodiscover, Ecp et. al. I have an SSL from Godaddy for my external email domain (mail.mydomain.com), but when I try to run the ARR config mentioned in the article everything dies.
How do I set this up so traffic for mail.mydomain.net does not get confused with traffic for remote.mydomain.net?
