HELP! - Exchange 2007 issue - Unable to recreate Public Folder Database

Hi guys

This isn't the right forum to post this in but I'm new to this so please forgive me.

The issue I have is that we are running a single Exchange 2007 server with some Outlook 2003 clients that rely on the Public Folders and the Public Folders are broken.

I've managed to work my way through various problems and it seems have just created more along the way.

Initially I deleted the First Administrator Group via ADSIedit as it was referring to a 3 year old dead SBS box. Referring to http://geekswithblogs.net/marcde/archive/2011/07/05/article-recreating-the-public-folder-hierarchy.aspx I experienced all the errors and couldn't fix it. I eventually did a system state restore, something went wrong and we couldn't access the exchange server. This was fixed via netdom account reset.

Fast forward and the Public Folder Database was deleted. I attempted to recreate it and it failed. I have found numerous references online to rebuilding the hierarchy and did this as per http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727370(v=exchg.80).aspx . Problem came in that the Public Folder object class was gone and so I was going to rebuild it, but when creating a new object there is no msExchPublicMDB class ...

Summary

* When attempting to create Public Folder DB I get this error below.

* When I manually try create the object, the object class is missing....

* I've run dsacls on the Second Storage Group incase it was permissions.

* I've run setup /pd

Not quite sure what else I can do here.... This server is also a DC/GC.
