Hi,
We migrated from Exchange 2007 to 2013. Now some users are unable to see the global address list, if we look in Outlook and go to address list the global address list is blank. These users are unable to add shared mailboxes, because they cannot select an address from the address list.
It seems this is user specific, because other users are able to see the global address list.
If we logon with a user account that isn't able to see the address list on a computer with a clean installation of Windows the global address list is also blank.
I don't know if it has something to do with it, but we see these error messages in the application log of our Exchange server:
Event ID 2913, source MSExchange ADAccess.
Process Microsoft.Exchange.RpcClientAccess.Service.exe (PID=6588). Coudn't find a global address list for user '(null)' (SID='S-1-5-21-4057627310-4269477259-518133020-1252')
and
Process w3wp.exe (UNKNOWN) (PID=3524). Coudn't find a global address list for user '(null)' (SID='S-1-5-21-4057627310-4269477259-518133020-1444')
We checked if there is any security filtering on the global address list using ADSI edit, but there isn't any, the msExchQueryBaseDN attribute value for the users that don't see the address book is: <not set>.
We're using Outlook 2007, it also makes no difference if we enable or disable cache mode, the address list is always blank.
