Digital Signature | Exchange Server 2013

Dear Expert,

My boss need to use Digital Signature in mail. Now, I use Exchange 2007, I have a plan to upgrade to Exchange 2013. What's the digital signature concept in Exchange Server 2013? What's the basic requirement?
