Hi guys,
I have read through all of the articles that show up after I type out the title, and none of them seem to answer this question.
I have two multi-role CAS/MB 2013 exchange servers. I noticed that on one of the servers there was no [BACK END] RPC virtual directories, where on the other there was. This seemed odd, and not only that, I continually get the outlook popup that"the Microsoft Exchange administrator has made a change that requires you to quit and restart Outlook" ever 5 minutes or so. Even though this popup shows, Outlook actually continues to work no problem..
Anyway I used Install-WindowsFeature RPC-over-HTTP-Proxy to install the missing feature, however it installs using a default path of %systemroot%/bla/bla.
1. Can someone please give me the DEFAULT output of "Get-WebApplication" from an Exchange 2013 shell?
2. And secondly, can I use Remove-WebApplication" and "New-WebApplication" to re-create the RPC (note: I am ONLY talking about the RPC vd) virtual directory, using correct exchange settings?
