We have a subset of users that we want to increase the send/receive limits.
This was our environment settings:
Organization Maximum/Minimum (10mb's), Send Connector (10mb's), Receive Connector (10mb's)
According to the TID's the "Organization Limit" should be the largest value in your environment, and "in all cases, either inbound or outbound, the user mailbox setting trumps everything". This is not the case. I set my mailbox to 100mb's and was still restricted to 10mb's. So... this is the changes I made.
Organization Maximum/Minimum (100mb's), Send Connector (100mb's), Receiver Connector (100mb's)
I then set everyone's individual mailbox send/receive limits to 10mb's, with the exception of mine : ) Did I approach this correctly? I've also noticed that when you create a "new" mailbox, restrictions are not assigned to the mailbox. So... they would get the Organization Maximum/Minimum's, which is not good because I've now got that set at 100mb's. Sure, I can manually assign the limit of 10mb's when creating, but was wondering if there's a better way. Thanks
