Hi, I have a customer that has over 20 smtp domains and does not want to purchase a certificate with numerous SAN's.
The entire domain is configured with both internal and external namespace for every service owa, ews, rpc and so forth with mail.company.com.
Autodiscover is configured with autodiscover.company.com
We are in the test phase now and we got the external 3rd party certificate with mail.company.com and autodiscover.company.com, and the exchane fqdns.
Is it possible to create SRV records for all domains pointing towards the namespace we have in our certificate and have published in the external dns?
example, point autodiscover.north.company.com towards autodiscover.company.com? I have read something around here on the boards saying that SRV records can be used for this but I don't exactly know if its the same thing im facing.
If autodiscover works for the "subcompanies", they will receive the mail.company.com URL for the rest of the services correct? so its only for the autodiscover part?
