Hi
There is the following environment:
Existing Office 365 tenant newcompany.onmicrosoft.com
Forest oldcompany.com
- Exchange 2010 Ressource Domain oldcompany.com with linked mailboxes
- Contains all user mailboxes (200 linked mailboxes)
- Account Domain accounts.oldcompany.com
- UPN suffix accounts.oldcompany.com
- The whole oldcompany.com forest has to be removed at the end
New Forest newcompany.com
- Exchange 2013 organization and accounts within this forest (newcompany.com)
- Contains a few testmailboxes
- Contains all accounts from Forest oldcompany.com (no migration, just manually created)
- Account synchronization (aad connect) to Office 365 tenant newcompany.com
- UPN suffix newcompany.com
What scenario can I use to migrate the mailboxdata from forest oldcompany.com to office 365, that already contains all user accounts synchronized from newcompany.com forest?
After doing a lot of internet research I belief that my only possibility is doing a PST export from olcompany.com Exchange and import into Office 365 mailboxes using azcopy tool.
Or is there another way to do this migration?
Regards
Peter
