We recently changed our office domain as we wanted to change our mail server from lotus to exchange.

We had to change our internal domain name as it was an old nt name and contained an _ which exchange would not install on

So we created an entirely new domain for the office we called it crowehorwath.com

Now everything is running smoothly except for one thing in exchange we added the accepted domains and our main domain is crowehorwath.ie

The only thing not working is we have a few contacts outside the office in the states that use crowehorwath.com as their mail address and we can not contact

We get the folowing

 Generating server: BC4EXCHANGE.CROWEHORWATH.COM

 @crowehorwath.com #< #4.4.7 smtp;550 4.4.7 QUEUE.Expired; message expired> #SMTP#

the only change i can make to the crowehorwath.com in accepted domains to change domain type from authoritative to internal relay and this does not work

Can anyone help is there a way around this

Our domain controllers and exchange server are all 2008 server r2 and exchange 2013
