We have an AD with around 100 OUs - one for each department which has their own separate IT budget and mailboxes on 2013 servers. I need to be able to "bill" them for their Exchange user CALs and for the storage they use in our mailservers databases.
This i need to do each month.
So I'm looking for a PS script which can help me out here. The storage sum has to be the sum ofall types of mailboxes (user, shared and resources) but the number of mailboxes I need to actually bill is only the user mailboxes, so the shared and resource mailboxes should not be part of the total mailbox sum
that I get from the script. I don't need specifics about users, just the name of the OU, the total amount of storage (preferably in GB) consumed by the OUs mailboxes, and the total amount of user mailboxes in the OU.
Saving the results to a CSV file or multiple csv files is also needed.
Any help will be greatly appreciated :)
