Exchange 2013 DAG and archiving

Hi Team

Please checkout this scenario.  I am setting up exchange 2013, 3 mailbox servers.  We want to implement exchange 2013 archiving but space is the issue

1.  Is it possible to have 2 mailbox servers in a DAG and the 3rd one to be just a stand alone mailbox server for a specific database?

2. Is it possible to have a separate mailbox server (Outside of the DAG) just to handle the archive?  Or no, if the DB is on the DAG then it cannot be done.
