certificate for exchange (proxy) using active sync and outlook anyware

hello friends,

in another post I discussed with friends over a problem I was and came to the conclusion that I do not need a public certificate on both exchanges. Just my exchange that is facing internet you need. The second exchange proxy only needs an internal certificate.

I have one just like it ( http://faragesolutions.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/proxy.jpg?w=650 ) scenario . Using two Exchange , only one of them is accessed as a proxy.

I installed (Microsoft Internal Server CA) and the Outlook client is working perfectly. As my Exchange is also a domain controller, it generated an automatic certificate. Perfect.

But now passed me a question by ideas:

1 - In (Exchange 2 - not facing internet) I'm just using an internal validation certificate for IIS. But if users who have mailboxes on (Exchange 2) and want to use Active Sync or Outlook AnyWare, will only work with the public certificate (3rd party) installed on (Exchange 1 - facing internet)?

Thank you.
