recently i had the issue that users in my company were sending attachments as winmail.dat. i found that the fix for this problem turned out to be setting the default remote domain TNEFEnabled to False. This fixed the issue the we were sending winmail.dat.
However, since last week after performing the above fix we have started receiving mails with attachments as winmail.dat and there format being tripped from HTML to plain text. note that these are regular returning mails that have always come trough without any problems, for some reason they are not getting trough anymore since i changed the TNEFENABLED status to false.
The original attachments vary from PDF files to Excel en Word documents.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
