I moves all mailboxes from 2010 to 2013.
When I saw my outlook 2007 exchange setting look like
{a serial number}@mydomain.com
Then I changed to server name then my outlook cannot connect to exchange server.
"you must connect to Microsoft Exchange with the current profile before you can synchronize your folders with your offine folder file."

Hi guys,
Need a bit of assistance.
We have a shared mailbox where AutomateProcessing has been turned on and set to Autoaccept.
However when you send an appointment from your calendar to the shared mailbox, the message body of the appointment is removed in the shared mailbox calendar.
However the message body does show in your own calendar.
Is there something else that I can change to set this not to remove the message body?
I've tried DeleteComments $False
I've tried DeleteSubject $False
I've tried RemovePrivateProperty $False
DeleteNonCalendarItems $False
Basically half of the stuff in there but still can't get it to work.

We have exported mailboxes from a 2010 Exchange server to .PST files. Then moved the files to a new Exchange 2013 server in a new domain.
When we import the .PST files with powershell the modified/created dates on the mailbox items are set to the point it was imported to the mailbox. (The attribute time stamp)
Is it possible to run any command wich will keep the original created/modified date on the items?

I have a frustrating issue on EXCH 2013 SP1 CU7. Outlook clients work fine but logging onto OWA or ECP does not. When trying to logon to OWA we get infinite "still working on it" , ECP just blinks and we get logon screeen again. We cannot logon - independently on browser used. Problem is that there are NO errors in application nor in system log. We had also checked the IIS logs, and again, no errors(mostly OK 200 messages from clients connecting from outlook)
Got this problem before CU7, hoping the update will resolve it but its the same. Tried to recreate OWA nad ECP virtual directories multiple times but no change. Everything is in default dirs.
Exchange connectivity test, autodiscover is OK.
Also have to point out that Frontend and Backend are using valid certificates(cert with public name for front end and selfsigned for backend)
Auth for Backend (OWA and ECP) are anon and integrated(when i disable anaon, nothing changes), for Frontend - Basic for OWA and ECP is enabled - i.e. its in default state
It worked till about 3 weeks ago...
Can you help, please? Should I reinstall Exchange or its some bug? Thanks.

So far, only fix seems to be export mailbox to PST, recreate mailbox, import data back. I would like to find another fix though ..

"Datacenter Activation Coordination (DAC) mode is a property of a database availability group (DAG). DAC mode is disabled by default butshould be enabled for all DAGs with two or more members that use continuous replication."
I've never had any problems with switchovers/failovers for my two-member DAG with this option (DAC) disabled.
I'd like to understand if DAC is so valuable option why it's disabled by default? Should I (or any other Exchange administrator) enable it right after creating a DAG in any case or there could be any additional considerations?

I have two questions about exchange server migration. When I migrate a mailbox from exchange 2010 to 2013 server, I get an error in the outlook client saying that the administrator has made a change and outlook needs to be restarted(no big deal, I can live with that).
When outlook is restarted it fails to connect to the new exchange server. The fix is quite easy, I open up the account settings and hit repair:
What I notice after this(outlook is restarted and it connects successfully) is that the mail server ID has changed to a random string rather than "exchange.domain.com"
So two questions:
Other than this, everything appears to be working fine. Users still on exchange 2010 can email 2013 users and vice versa.
I am running Exchange 2010 SP3, and Exchange 2013 CU6. Outlook 2013 client is version: 15.0.4569.1506

- first one play all roles
- second one play just client access role
i formatted the second one and remove every thing on it even windows server ! so
The problem is: i want to remove it's record from server menu(in the first and original server) !! but i can't and there isn't any remove choice please any help ?!!

We recreated EWS virtual directory (reset was made).
Now we have an issue - when we try to log in address "https://myexchproblemserver/ews/exchange.asmx" we see an error page:

Wondering if anyone can give some advice on an error I'm getting when trying to open EMC on my Exchange 2010 server (simple environment - running Windows 2008 R2 on Exchange...... 1 exchange 2010 server and two Windows 2008 domain controllers).
The error I'm getting is the following:
Exchange 2010 EMC connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The WinRM client received an HTTP server error status (500), but the remote service did not include any other information about the cause of the failure.
I discovered my backup domain controller had gone down for some reason, but all it required was me to turn the power back on and the Backup DC booted up just fine. While it was down, all the other services on Exchange were working just fine. There
are no client issues and the server seems to be operating without any problems. The only issue is opening EMC and getting the error above.
I waited a few hours after the backup domain controller was booted up to try opening the EMC, but am still getting the same error message. The only event log I can find on it is in the application log "Event ID 1053 Source: MSFTESQL-Exchange - The system exception c0000005 was raised at 000007EFDE8BC989. Stack: "
I've done some searches and found various possiblities, but haven't tried anything yet. I'm hopeful it's a simple issue to resolve.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to resolve this?

Exchange 2013 CU2 installed on Windows 2012 server and co-existing with Exchange 2007.
Two Exchange 2013 Mailbox server configured in DAG, two Exchange 2013 CAS in Hardaware load balancer configured.
Issue: on Mailbox servers in Queue folder there are multiple folders generated with name "messaging old" with date and inside there is old "mail.queue file" .
I am facing above issue in both the mailbox servers. causing disk space issue. (checked tracing pipeline and transport dumpster setting and its in deafult setting)
can I delete the old mail.queue file? is its reported by anybody.
