Hi
We migrated imported pst files to exchange mailboxes using new-importrequest.
We notice many of the ost files are different in size than the original psts. Some larger some smaller.
Is this normal and what accounts for this?

Delete content in exchange
hello
a communication was sent out to all users and needs to be deleted from all mailboxes,
looking to specify exact message so we don't delete multiple messages in error. This is what i have so far but i would like to narrow it down to time and date.

My current environment include:
+ One hybrid environment use for testing
+ One hybrid environment use for end-user (production)
+ On-cloud environment (external partner)
I'm create an organization relationship between hybrid environment (test) and external partner. Everything is OK, external user can view free/busy calendar of on-premise user in hybrid environment (test). When i'm running command Test-OrganizationRelationship, the result is OK for all step
I do the same with production environment. In early November, everything is OK, external user can view free/busy calendar of on-premise user in hybrid environment (production). However about two weeks later, i ran the Test-OrganizationRelationship in exchange online powershell on external partner environment and got the following error:

I see that the federation trust in hybrid environment for production does not exist. I try to run the following command but the error still didn't fix:

Hybrid 2010+O365: cannot process argument transformation on parameter 'emailaddresses'
Hi.
I'm running on-prem 2010 (update rollup 16) in hybrid. My mailboxes are split between both; some on-prem mailboxes, and some in O365. AAD is syncing users to O365.
I need to add an email address for an O365 mailbox. So I went into EMC, input my O365 creds when prompted, opened the user properties, added the SMTP address and hit OK. I then got.
I then tried from Exchange Admin Centre for O365, but of course it told me that this object was being sync'd from on-prem.
Any idea what is causing this? and how to fix it?

After delete the user in O365, removed from the recycle bin as well and seen if he's correctly recreated after the next DirSync cycle.The error that appears:

This happened after the 1st error that appeared: "User is already being moved" error when you move mailboxes from on-premises to Exchange Online in a hybrid deployment.
What else can I do?

Best way to forward emails to an external email addresses and why?
Our company is splitting up and some users needs to forward their current emails to the new external email addresses until they fully moved . What is the best way and why? create a rule for each users and forward the emails or create anew mail contact
for each users? we are on exchange 2010. Thanks.

Exchange 2007 Uninstall
Hi. I'm trying to uninstall an Exchange Server 2007 in one of our sites. The thing is that this site used to have a Windows Server 2008 DC with global catalog. That DC is no longer available since it was migrated to a Windows Server 2016 DC.
Now, when running the uninstall process I get this:
[ERROR] Cannot find at least one global catalog server running Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 or later in the local Active Directory site.
What would be the solution? A manual force remove? Or do I have to install a temporary 2008 DC on that site? Do you have any other idea in mind?

Error 400 with Autodiscover for certain users
Greetings! I am in the process of standing up some Exchange 2013 hybrid servers in our Exchange 2010 environment. Both of these servers host both CAS and MBX roles. They are hybrid licensed which as I came to find out means they cannot host any mailboxes with this license mode; not an issue as we currently do not plan on migrating any users to Exchange 2013 on premise, just to O365.
Here is my issue. With my account only (so far), when I browse to mail.domain.com\autodiscover\autodiscover.xml I receive an error 400 - BAD REQUEST. This happens for both the internal and external URL. OWA and ECP both work fine. I tested with some other accounts and they get the expected 600 response. I have noticed that with my account, when using Outlook Anywhere off the network, this autodiscover issue results in free/busy not functioning.
When I browse to the autodiscover.xml on our current Exchange 2010 CAS server, I do not get this error 400 so it seems to be just with the new Exchange 2013 servers. I did research into this error and came across some suggestions to increase the MaxTokenSize in case it is an issue with large kerberos tickets for my account but this did not alleviate the issue.
Looking for some suggestions on where to look next. Thank you in advance!

remove Suspended move of a system mailbox
Running a Exchange 2013 four node cluster with 30 databases, each of which is in a single DAG. While trying to delete a database I got an error about an unfinished migration.
Running Get-MoveRequestStatistics -MoveRequestQueue DB01 revealed a suspended move request of a system mailbox existed. It has no display name and reports that the account could not be found in AD. I verified the account exists and is disabled as all the other SystemMailboxes seem to be.
How can I delete or clear this move request?

migrate Exchange2010 to Exchange Online, migration batch, mailboxes moves StalledDueToTarget_MdbAvailability in logs
Dear All,
i have made an Exchange 2010 Server minimal hybrid and want to migrate a test database to Ex Online. The migration job starts but remains at 'StalledDueToTarget_MdbAvailability' (since >18 hours).
i have restarted the mailbox replication service, check the index of the database etc. but no luck.
What can i try next?

can't delete mails
hello all,
we have a great problem. we can't delete any mail items on a shared mailbox.
get-mailboxstatistics shows deleteitem 30GB deleteitem and totalitemsize 16GB
mailbox is inplacehold with send quota 20GB and unlimited receive quota. Now I removed the mailbox from Inplace hold and set quota to 50GB - same problem, can't delete any items.
I try it with OWA delete all under deleted items, but nothing was deleted.
has anybody a tipp for us.

In-Place Archiving has Stopped
Hi
We have In-Place Archiving with Retention policies set up for all mailboxes and after working flawlessly for over two years it, but now it has stopped for everyone at a specific date. The best that I can offer is that it appears to have occurred on the same day as my colleague applied CU22 to the servers but I have searched this forum and the internet and can't find any know issues with archiving stopping and/or issues with CU22.
All advice/help/comments appreciated.

Stop users viewing their Archive mailboxes in Exchange 2013
Hi all,
We want to provide users with Archive mailboxes and use retention policies to archive emails older than 2 years to these mailboxes. However, we don't want the users to be able to view the Archive mailboxes at all.
Is it possible to prevent the user from adding their Archive mailbox to Outlook?

451 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX5
I've noticed that on occassion when I connect to my Exchange 2013 CU 1 server, the server will respond with "451 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX5" after I submit an e-mail for delivery. It accepts the sender, verifies
the recipient, asks for data and fails only upon submission. Trying again right after the failure usually takes care of the problem what that's not a fix. What's causing the problem? Anyone else seen this?

Auto-reply with distribution group
Hi,
we have exchange 2013, we want to make autoreply from distribution group every time a mail is received. I read that it is possible to make a fake email and forward from this email to group and so on. Also there are suggestions to create noreply@domain.com mailbox, but there have to be running outlook all the time or otherwise rule won't work. Aren't there any other simpler way?

Logging in to O365 using credential file still requires me to enter my password
Hello,
Trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong, I create my credential and then load it, it will import all the commands, but then when I need to use the commands for the first time, it asks me for my password again.. I need to be able to login through scheduled
tasks and this won't allow me to. Any help is appreciated!

Consolidation of HUBCAS and MBX Exchange 2010
Hi GUys,
Our current setup is 2Xhubcase server 1XMBX server and all our user reside in O365
we wish to consolidate hubcas server and move it to MBX server.
what are the steps i should take before i do this.
i am currently auditing all routes and services which needs to be moved across but was hoping for better insight and any pitfall i should watch out for.

Resource not showing in GAL
We have created several booking rooms in exchange admin center but none of them are showing in the GAL.
Looking at the exchange resource I can see if has been created correctly and hidden from GAL is not selected.
I have checked the AD attributes and the msExchHideAddressBook is not enabled.
Any Ideas?
The meeting rooms are created on exchange 2013 and using outlook 2016.

Exchange Online Rules Storage amount how much being used currently
I've increased the inbox rules storage to 256, client already has a large number rules and more will need to be added, is there a cmdlet I can run to find out how much rules storage is already being using. Have found one yet that will give me the current amount of storage being used.
